How to Play

Play Hidden Princess online for free. Hidden Princess is a 3-level hidden object finding game where you must find pastel-colored silhouettes of swords, numbers, shoes, crowns, ribbons, and roses. Each level has 125 objects hidden in it. Can you find them all before time runs out? This game is rendered in mobile-friendly HTML5, so it offers cross-device gameplay. You can play it on mobile devices like Apple iPhones, Google Android powered cell phones from manufactures like Samsung, tablets like the iPad or Kindle Fire, laptops, and Windows-powered desktop computers. All game files are stored locally in your web browser cache. This game works in Apple Safari, Google Chrome, Microsoft Edge, Mozilla Firefox, Opera and other modern web browsers.

Starting the Game

Select the yellow and white Play button on the game’s welcome screen.
The welcome screen also contains buttons for gameplay help, high scores & playing more games.
The lower left corner of the welcome screen has a language select drop down.
The lower right corner of the welcome screen has buttons for social sharing & reading game developer info.
Game Controls
- Desktop
  - Use your mouse left click button to select items.
  - Perform a long left click on the image background to zoom and then click and scroll to move around the playing field.
  - Touchscreen devices
    - Tap the screen with a finger to use it like a mouse.
    - Controls & indicators
      - The right rail of the game contains all the game controls and indicators.
      - At the top there are buttons to control game sound & music.
      - Next it shows what level you are on & your current cumulative game score.
      - These indicators are followed by a pause button, a full screen mode button, and a count of how many finding credits you have remaining.
      - Under your remaining credits data there is a list of the 6 items you need to find, the quantity of each you have found, and how many total items of that type you need to find.
      - At the bottom is the hints button which you can use a total of 3 times per level. Exercise caution when using it.
      - Game Play
        Items
        On every level you need to find the same six item types in the same six quantities.
        swords – 20
        numbers – 30
        shoes – 10
        crowns – 25
        bows – 10
        roses – 30
        Strategy
        You start each level with 30 credits. In some cases items may be hidden behind other items & you can also accidentally make misclicks, so it does not make sense to try to find the roses or numbers first because if you make any errors you will run out of credits.
        Typically it makes sense to find the shoes and bows and swords off the start of the level.
        Do not find more than 10 swords on the first run so that you retain enough credits to fully find the bows or shoes.
        When you have 9 of 10 bows or shoes found & see where the final one is located, spend your credits down to 1 finding other items then click on the bow or shoe to get another set of credits.
        Be sure to keep at least a couple find credits in hand until you visually locate a tenth & final item because in some cases an item can be behind another item type.
        As you progress through the level try to retain the status of having one item nearly completely found while spending credits on making most of the progress toward the next item.
        Be careful not to spread your find credits across many items types at once near the end of the level as you can’t be certain how many credits you will get next. If you have 18 of 30 in two different item types then get 10 more find credits you won’t have enough credits remaining to complete either object & then get more credits to finish the other.
        You only get three hints per level, so ideally you wouldn’t use any until you have found all but one of a particular item type.
        Scoring
        You start this game with a score of 2,000.
        The score clicks down 1 point per second.
        Your score at the end of one level has 2,000 points added to it for the starting score of the next level.
        Levels
        This game has 3 levels.
        If you fail a level you can refresh your browser to continue your game playing from the beginning of the level you were on.
